GMS Weekly Newsletter 5/29/26

MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL
As another school year comes to a close, we just want to say — thank you. Your support this year truly meant everything. Whether you volunteered your time, stayed in touch with teachers, helped with homework, or simply cheered your child on, it made a real difference.
We've watched our students grow in so many ways this year, and you were a big part of that. Wishing your family a wonderful, restful summer — you've earned it!
-Mrs. Shutt
26-27 HS SCHEDULES

VACCINES
If your child is going into 7th grade:
As in previous years, incoming 7th graders will need to receive a Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) booster and one dose of Meningococcal vaccine prior to the start of school.
PHYSICALS
If your student is interested in playing a 7th or 8th grade sport next school year, they will need an updated physical. Please use the link to print and take to the appointment so the doctor may complete their portion of the form. Physicals will need to be turned in by August 1 to the coach or the main office. Students who don’t have physicals in by then, will not be able to practice. https://ohsaaweb.blob.core.windows.net/files/Sports-Medicine/2025-26PPE.pdf
