Welcome to the Counselor's Page
I am excited and honored to be GMS’s School Counselor. When the position became available I jumped at the chance to return to the district where I began my school counseling career.
I grew up in Columbus, OH and went to Groveport Madison High School. After high school I attended Ashland University for my Bachelor Degree then continued my education at the University of Dayton for my Master in Clinical Counseling degree. While I was at AU, I met my husband who is a Wayne County native and showed me what a great place it is to live and we moved here 15 years ago.
In my free time I enjoy volleyball, walking, yoga, playing fetch with my dog, knitting/crocheting, traveling and spending time with my friends and family.
I am looking forward to a great school year and having the opportunity to work with the students and families in this amazing community.
